Drawing was Lee's favorite childhood pastime and she was always intrigued
by color and shape, but it wasn’t until she was nearing retirement that she
began painting in 2001. She now enjoys creating paintings that reflect her
love of life and her continued fascination with color and design. Although
Lee is primarily self-taught, she has studied with several of the areas finest
artists; she enjoys the challenge of finding new ways to express herself in
her paintings.
Lee is actively involved in the local arts community as a member of
numerous arts organizations, frequently exhibiting in area shows and
occasionally teaching painting workshops or classes.
An Ohio native, Lee currently resides in Brunswick with her husband, Bill,
and their dog, Winston.
